Brilliant discussion. Thank you both for your clear-eyed reportage and commentary in these dire times for the US and for all humanity. Environmental destruction, the related climate emergency (that isn't, of course, being treated as an emergency) and the growing threat of nuclear war, not covered in this short interview, are the existential dangers that are the backdrop to this discussion. Things are looking very bleak. But we must keep trying to organize to create a safer, more just and environmentally sustainable human community, not only on behalf of this and future generations but in order to live with ourselves. We can't just give up. Thank you both for all you are doing to bring into being the world we all need and deserve. 💖
