I basically stopped watching Star Wars when Lucas sold out the series in the 3d movie. I've seen a few afterward here & there with my ex (who was still into it), but I have no idea how the plot went after the 3d one. I take your point though: we can't do anything about what we already did, but we can certainly change and redeem ourselves.
Pretty much the same here. Saw the first movie when I was about 9 or 10. It was good. Third was a repeat of the first. Fourth movie was OK. Stopped watching them there. Did like the Andor TV series ... though I agree Disney ruined a lot of Star Wars ... and have played several of the PC games. Vader isn't really evil ... he's a movie character. Cheny onthe other hand ... damn evil to the core and unfortunately he was real.

Cheney OK’d torture. The torture model Cheney’s torturers used was based on torturing committed by the North Koreans against US downed pilots and US soldiers during the Korean War. This torture was not intended to provide information. It was being used to force these US servicemen to publicly admit to crimes that would shame the US military. Real military interrogators prefer to develop relationships of trust in order to obtain real and useful intelligence. Cheney was a lying, sleazy, underhanded, greedy, unfucking American, piece of garbage.
I didn’t read the article, but I do remember what a piece of shit he was. Him, along with Henry Kissinger, were arguably two of the biggest assholes ever in politics.
And, never forget, there is another Cheney who has manipulated public opinion to her favor. She voted with the orange dictator nearly 100%. Do not trust her for a nanosecond!
