First of all, the US empire is running the show and they wouldn’t continue to fund & arm Israel if it wasn’t in the interests of the empire to do so. Second, that the majority support to Israel has disappeared with this genocide doesn’t mean the US will cut its ties that Israel depends on to survive as the mass murder and big bully of the neighborhood that it is. That will take a powerful movement in the US that doesn’t yet exist that can unite this sentiment and turn it into action.
So we are not at the end at all of the Zionist state that oppresses, murders and ethnically cleanses Palestinians. It is not going to collapse on its own. For a future beyond more blood baths, we need that movement here in the US and also on the ground in Israel/Palestine where Jews & Palestinians work together in solidarity for a better future for everyone.
